I have decided to go with MSC for my commercial cruise this summer and I was wanting to get on a steamship. I’m in the process of apply and it asked which category of ship I preferred. I have been looking into which category had the most steam ships, but I can’t find much information about their propulsion plants. Any help would be appreciated.
Pretty sure the only steamships in the MSC fleet are the USNS Mercy and Comfort, the sub tenders USS Frank Cable and USS Emery Land, the USS Mount Whitney command ship, and forward afloat staging base the USS Ponce.
Yup. . . Google is your friend. . . http://www.msc.navy.mil/inventory/
