I don’t think anyone has ever called the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, the Smithsonian Institute, and National Geographic “eco-doom catastrophists”. They are world renowned and highly respected scientific and research organizations.
And yes, you can dilute a basic solution to make it less basic. But of course that isn’t what we are talking about.
