Don’t forget the fast deliverer.
Haven’t seen that one yet…damn.
Do crew boats count?

Only if it’s orange! Man, that’s a lot of boats.
When they are over 200’ yes!
As long as the 200 footers stop sterning up in the back of the Halliburton slip, makes that last corner or moving around a pain in the ass
Found out what happened with the broken aft window on the orca. Poor shipyard guy dropped an adjustable wrench and it hit in just the right spot and blew the window out. He was so scared he ran off the boat and left.
Pitching the computer through the window makes a far better story !!
In June we finished an 8 month modification refit. The circular domed glass skylight at the top of the grand foyer made it through absolutely unscathed.
Almost.
Someone dropped something on the skylight 5 days before delivery, shattering the tempered safety glass, all perfectly made to class requirements, special order.
Not a peep who did it.
Reviewed 14 days of security cameras and saw every person who was near it. All were shipyard persons.
Shipyard staged the grand foyer (inside) and replaced the skylight. Cost 'em over $50k.
Never did find the perp, but we had at leasta short list.
Never underestimate the security cameras nowadays. I was staggered to see how the security team could simply set a search area in the computer, and it would download images off the server of every person who passed through the set box. Fantastic … or maybe not so fantastic… depending on point of view.

I’m intrigued, what ship is that? Or at least, what type of ship is it if you don’t want to reveal too much about where you work.
I would guess a cruise ship based on words like sky light and grand foyer, but Chouest does build some famcy mud boats so you never know.
Is she an OSV? Finally the Chouest designers realized they shouldn’t just multiply everything by 1.2 to get a larger boat. She’s really nice looking.
Bridge design came from skipsteknisk; rights were purchased by ECO when the Island Enforcer was bought from Berger Group.
Job was a giga yacht +5000 GRT.
Job finished, already off to next project …

Still wouldn’t like to work for Chouest again though.
Why is that?
