The front door of the Haskell Free Library and Opera House is in America, but Canadians cross the border with little fuss to enter it. Or at least they could until recently. Read our story about how the hardening of the border has affected a library that straddles two countries.

Trump is doing a much improved job of securing the Mexican Border (which is essential), but Trump is doing the exact opposite of what he should be doing on the Canadian Border.
The Canadian Border should be thrown wide open. ICE should be reassigned to the south. Canadians should be allowed to freely cross the border without inspection or hassles, and to live and work in The States. There should be a fast track to US citizenship for Canadians. All duties and non-tariff barriers on Canadian made goods should be dropped.

Well he is an authoritarian populist like Trump, Orban, Milei and Meloni. They claim populism to get power but ally themselves with the elites. When caught at their game by the population that supported them they go full authoritarian or dictator. Mussolini, Hitler, Maduro, Lukashenko. There are signs of cracks in some of the current AP types followers now.
