Hi everybody, I’ve been a fan of this site for a long time but this is my first post. I was just wondering if any of you have any good stories about annoying green hands. The reason I ask is because I just helped a family member get into the maritime industry and after maybe six weeks on the water he’s acting like he’s been doing this his entire life. I’m happy he’s found something he enjoys but it’s become old having to hear about how he loves the job when he hasn’t even got his feet wet yet. I’m waiting to hear him say he’s never going back to a land job come December when he’s getting tossed out of his rack or when he has to room with the one crew member that seems to be allergic to soap. Just venting a bit and would like to hear any funny/ridiculous stories you guys may have about similar guys.
