Yes of course. We can all look back and monday morning quarterback. But the current quarterback still thinks he is doing, and has done, everything right. And I can’t understand the mindset of those who agree with him. I’m hoping for some enlightenment though.

BTW, all you need to know is that Swedes are the stupid ones, everything else is not important.

They lick on steel bars (in the cold).

Look at the retard, like Trump or a Swede.

I’ve seen that in Argentina and Chile also!

Ignorance is a bliss

Just an old hillbilly expression for people getting caught in flagrant BS.

You must be referring to delusional Cheeto’s cries of “Obamagate”.

Oh please forgive me!! I forgot demos get dispensation for treason…

I really wish people would come up with another descriptive name for Trump. I actually like Cheetos , I find them tasty. Also, they’ve never lied to me, they are just as devoid of proper nutrition as written on the box.

I’ll be honest, I hadn’t been following this. But based on what I just read on Fox’s headline story:

An unidentified US citizen (not representing the government) was inadvertently captured speaking on the phone about Russian sanctions to the Russian Ambassador (who was being monitored by the NSA). 16 individuals in the administration who were authorized to ask who that person was, asked who that person was. The report specifically says that list does not indicate whether those 16 individuals received the requested information. That US citizen has been revealed to be Flynn, who admitted to lying to the FBI about that conversation.

The document listing the 16 names requesting the unmasking was just declassified and released by the current Acting DNI. That document states:

“Each individual was an authorized recipient of the original report and the unmasking was approved through NSA’s standard process, which includes a review of the justification for the request,” the document said.

Which part should I be freaking out about?

There is nothing to freak-out about. It’s all deflection and bluster by the insecure, incompetent and fake president. I’m even going to post a Fox News story that actually explains the non-starter issue.

Also, remember what I said earlier on this thread about the federal judge who’s going to give Barr’s DOJ its come uppings on the Flynn motion to dismiss his charges and guilty pleas. Flynn is going to be sentenced after the court adds the charges for 2 counts of perjury.

“Unmasking” makes a good talking point because it sound vaguely nefarious but in fact the explanation is straightforward.

I knew little of the latest scandal of ''unmasking" by Obama. Apparently unmasking is a bad thing but I guess it depends on who’s doing it. Frankly I think there are bigger things to be worried about by our government.
“The number of unmasking requests began being released to the public in response to recommendations in 2014 from the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board,” the AP reported. “There were 9,217 unmasking requests in the 12-month period between September 2015 and August 2016, the first period in which numbers are publicly available. The period was during the latter years of the Obama administration. The number rose during the Trump administration. The 9,529 requests in 2017 grew to 16,721 in 2018 and 10,012 last year.”
It adds up to over 36,200 cases of “unmasking” under Trump’s leadership, higher than Obama’s numbers in the years reported. Trump has not revealed the details about those over 36,000 cases, he’s only focused on the unmasking under the Obama administration.

What exactly is scandalous here?

Nothing I can see.

Than why is it necessarily a bad thing?

I didn’t know it was until I watched Fox “News” for an better understanding. To them it is a bad thing, to me? Not a problem. I got the 'rona to worry about, a major recession, trying to figure out how to keep my mask from fogging my glasses etc., etc
