1981 Bowditch for CM unlimited Test

I’m testing for my C/M unlimited with oceans in February of next year. Just started hitting the books again and feel pretty good. When I go to test will they let me use the 1981 Bowditch or will I have to use the new one? Can I request the old one?

New one only unless they make a mistake and have 1981 in test room still.

The last time I tested a few years ago the questions were based up the old Bowdich, and that’s what they had in the exam room.

When was this? The change was announced in November, 2022.

Time flys when you’re having fun, and/or getting older. Now that I think about it, I last tested in 2016.

I tested in january 2022 for my 3rd and they still were using the 1981 so I was hoping they’d continue to do so until I was done.

Tested in Louisiana in April for CM only the 2019 was available in the exam room

Tested in Oakland spring of 2023 and they had the new one. The only difference I noted was one of the amplitude correction tables was numbered differently.
