Ok so I’m finishing up my schooling and getting ready to get my credentials and was wondering what people think a new guy should do. I’ll have my AB, Assistant tankerman, rfpnw, lifeboatman. Right now I want to get out of town for a while and work as much as I can for as long as I can. I’ve heard stories of people working for MSC and they were able to work for a month and instead of taking the next month off they go back out again and work for multiple months at a time. Just would like to get some sea time and a nice pay check to start saving some money. Figured I’d come here and ask because I always here stories of how people wish they did something they didn’t do.
