Where does the "Thanks" button go?

I swear it comes and goes as it pleases… I know I’ve seen other people comment in frustration every now and then about the same thing. What happens when it just decides to go away? I sign out, sign back in again, refresh the page, nothing helps, it just comes back when it wants. gCaptain, can this be fixed?

I’m pretty sure you only get"X" number of thanks per day.

I believe Bloodyshitcakes nailed it. There’s only a finite amount of tokens doled out to each of us.
