OPCO- Operating company
USMMI- US Marine Management (Maersk Line Limited)
OSI- (not USI) Ocean Shipholdings
I can vouch for OSI since I used to work there before I went to the Pumpkin Patch… great company, great people, meh for pay though (…or was in ‘05 when I left). But if I was in a position where I was looking for a job and they offered, I’d jump on it regardless of the mediocre pay because of all the other factors.
All Sealift Inc. officer positions are filled through AMO. As with many AMO companies they do not have preference with their junior officers. If you have you C/M or Master Unlimited maybe you can, not sure
I doubt they were one of the “top players” buddy. You mentioned you applied to Hornbeck last year…if you are applying to companies like that you are probably shooting for the bottom of the barrel. Unless you of course like uneven time with crap pay. Its not 2013 son.
Us? Have been asked by another poster or two to tell “Us” regarding different subjects, only to pounce on whatever answer is given. In this tough job market, I would keep that info close to my chest. So Kings Point of me ya think?
