Villain's Former Yacht Plows Into Pier In Tunisia

Yep, 007 villain, Maximillian Largo’s former yatch plowed into a concrete paved dock so hard she managed to get a few feet into it. Then dropped the port anchor. Darn villain yachts…

Real heavy-duty marine press here: “…extensive damage to the bottom of the ship or its keel, its body, also known as the hull.” But they had plenty of space (including a picture!) to devote to the guy who owned it 35+ years ago…

Owned by Rupert Murdoch. Who owns a major cable news show. Clearly he must have some sort of derangement syndrome…

There’s only a handful of things I miss from working in New York Harbor. The bagels & having 2 real, paper newspapers on the galley table every morning tops the list. I quit buying my local paper at home in the early 2000’s but fresh copies of the Daily News & The New York Post were brought on every morning from somewhere on the tugs I worked. Only the assholes complained about the silly Daily News & New York Post. All the down to Earth tugsters found their antics entertaining. Page 6 & the puzzles were the most discussed & sought after. I wonder if its still the same there?

Smartphone, dumb operator.

must be ai from asia as they use that spelling and phonetic here.
Reminds me of a story in a port office in Malaysia, changing captain on a yacht. Conversation goes on forever with lots of confusion still one office girl says boss they mean yatch, oh yatch ok we can help.
