How does a USCG 1600/300 Ton Oceans Master get a Vanuatu license/endorsement? Is it issued by the USCG or directly from Vanuatu? Does one need a company with an Vanuatu flag vessel to sponsor him/her for the endorsement? Please help, not sure how this works!
To my recollection, there is no requirement for a company to sponsor a mariner to get the endorsement yet that is the way one does generally get their Vanuatu license. Of course if you do it on your own you’ll have to pay for everything as well.
