I am not sure of the US record of congress or the Senate but I’m sure it is similar to the record of our parliament. Every word is recorded in Hansards and is publicly available.
China controls every move the people make and manages to give the illusion of freedom to the people.

Any city planner or architect will tell you that having a benevolent dictator in charge or not so benevolent dictator will get things done other than the frustrating committees that our not so perfect democracy’s are plagued with.
