I don’t have Truth Social nor plan on getting it but trust Mike Schuler with gCaptain News. This sounds promising imo. Like I & others have stated before, if Trump wanted to sink the Jones Act he probably would have done it his first go around. The guy isn’t good at keeping his desires secret or putting things off. If anyone has the article that Trump posted on Truth Social I would be interested in reading it.
Anyone got the article trump “shared” that this article is about? Perhaps I missed the link. Seems the G-captain is saying Trump (or someone on his team) shared an article that praised him and Jones Act and without stating anything… Correct? Hopefully this is a good sign…

With a large grain of salt.
Keep in mind Konrad is a true believing maga guy.
Then keep in mind that the Heritage Foundation has a yuge influence on Trump, and they are anti Jones Act.
That being said, in congress there is bipartisan support for the Jones Act, of course there’s also bipartisan opposition to the JA.
In any event, if Trump follows through with his tariffs, and ignites a trade war, that wouldn’t be good for shipping.
Likewise, if food for peace is ended, that will kill shipping jobs
Then if the U.S. does withdraw from NATO, that will negatively effect our jobs.
Wait and see, it’s all we can do at this point.

Thank you for sharing Mr. Newport. If this is the article that Trump “liked” & reshared on his Truth Social account then that is very good for the Jones Act, American mariners & national security.
Too bad for the Trump haters. I’m positive they would perfer Trump be an enemy to the Jones Act. Pretty sure they’d cut off their noses to spite the great orange devil. If Trump continues to support the Jones Act I’m sure they’ll be plenty more Democrats who start to oppose it.
