Trump as Captain?
If you were a ship operator, would you hire Donald J. Trump as a captain or chief engineer in 2016? If yes, why? If no, why not?
No, becaue while Trump’s father came up the hawsepipe Donald Trump was given a captain’s job as soon as he could see over the wheel. He never got his hands dirty on deck or learned how to eat a shit sandwitch and keep working.

However the office might be impressed with Trump because people often tend to conflate high confidence with high competence. Trump would give the impression he would crack down on the crew and run a tight ship.

If Trump did get a captain’s job he’d be like Sea Shepard’s Capt. Watson. He’d allow his subordinates to run the ship while he “played” captain.

Trump would have to be the executive officer
Trump would have to be the executive officer
yeah I can sure see that one…he’d be just fine working under another person’s authority. Fits his personality perfectly

make that a woman captain who is butch but also likes to “help herself” to grabbing her chief mate’s package when the mood pleases her and the world would become a wonderful place

But everyone knows only republican contributors are evil corporations. The people/companies that donate money to democratic causes are benevolently trying to force us to do what’s in our own best interest but we’re too stupid to realize.

isnt that foreign countries?

Watch your dirty mouth. People who cross the Clintons have a tendency to commit suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head.

I heard there was one guy back in Arkansas that shot himself in the chest twice with a pump action shotgun.

As opposed to Darth Cheney blasting his hunting buddy right in the face!

Now that one took some REAL skill to pull off considering Darth was hiding in an “undisclosed location” at the time!

Any fool can point a shotgun in somebody’s general direction and wing him upside the head.

It takes special talent to commit suicide by firing 3 slugs into your own chest with a 38 and be clutching a different handgun when your body is found.

Contest on MARITIME THEMED election memes and cartoons.

That was easily explained. Although no one had noticed it before, he had unusually long arms.

So, just to be sure of what your intimating here: your ultimate suspect in the death you allude to is a particular criminal family. Masters of conspiracies on such a state, national and international scale they make the Borgias look like the Clampetts. A family that has evaded criminal prosecution for nearly two generations, by suborning the Justice Dept.,FBI, CIA, NSA, as well as several state trooper agencies and city police jurisdictions, in their nefarious and nearly complete plans for World Domination. But they do it with practices such as hiring Barney Fife as an assassin. A laughable amateur who assassinates someone and trys to make it look like a suicide by shooting the victim three times in the chest and then leaving a different caliber handgun in the fake suicide’s hand?

So, this criminal family: are they either 1) SPECTRE-level evil geniuses with the impeccable hiring skills to match, or 2) low-rent rubes, whose cousin Barney needs $200 over the weekend for some meth? Seems to me SPECTRE-types wouldn’t hire Barney Fife, and rubes get caught the first time they hold up a 7-11.

We did have one president who did try to suborn the Justice Department. He was as close to a genius (in intellect) as any president we’ve had, and was tossed out of office for giving the nod to a single garden variety break-in…

When Trump is elected he needs to appoint some special prosecutors to investigate these strange, untimely, and totally coincidental deaths.

you mean to tell me the Clintons got Boudreaux and Thibodeaux whacked?

dem SCOUNDRELS!

Isn’t sawed off shotguns popular in certain circles??

Still, it would take lot of stamina to make that second trigger pull.

You don’t have to be a master researcher to discover how this power couple operates. Their modus operandi starting with the Whitewater scandal and what followed is well documented.
You doubt they could suborn State Troopers? What the troopers saw and were subjected to while assigned to the Clintons when he was governor of Arkansas is on record.
The Clintons were more circumspect back then but they were just getting started. They have since become so brazen and arrogant, they no longer bother to hide their machinations.
The list of “coincidences” to benefit them is long and varied so I’ll just hit on the latest bit of good fortune to come their way.
You dismiss the idea that they could suborn the Justice Dept and the FBI? Do you seriously believe it was just a coincidence when Slick Willy’s aircraft just happened to be parked next to Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s airplane on the tarmac in Phoenix back in July? His wife was under investigation by the FBI for ignoring communication protocols and compromising classified material while she was Secretary of State but Slick Willy decided on the spur of the moment that it would be cool to saunter over and say hi. He stays on Lynch’s plane for 20 to 25 minutes. When questioned, Lynch dismisses the meeting saying something to the effect that “Oh, we just chatted about our grandkids”. Stay with me now, it gets better; within a few days, Hillary announces she’d like Lynch to stay on as Attorney General if she’s elected and FBI director Comey declares that yes, the former Secretary of State did violate federal law and compromised national security but hey, she didn’t do it on purpose so it’s not illegal, she was merely “extremely careless.” (Since when did willful ignorance of the law come with a ‘get out of jail free’ card?)
Please… if you subscribe to this charade, I have some great ocean front property in Nevada for you to invest in.
I’ve held a high level security clearance and anyone who has will tell you that if they had done what Hillary did, they’d have been escorted to the parking lot without delay holding a cardboard box with their personal desk trash in it and into the custody of FBI agents.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not promoting their opponent.
It saddens me that the majority of the American sheeple have come to swallow any fabrication from morally bankrupt candidates, however implausible, and in their apathy and tunnel vision will elect whoever waves the shiniest baubles in front of them and promises them the moon.
It’s been said that people get the government they deserve.
God help us.

Some people aren’t lucky enough to have a get out of jail free card. Either it’s money, death threats or they have dossiers on their enemies that would make Hoover jealous. It was sad to see how they got to Bernie, look how quickly he fell in line.

I know how much the thought of Secretary Clinton becoming President Clinton makes you writhe but the sad fact is that your party allowed the wrong man to become the GOP’s candidate. If a better, more shrewd, more calculating intellect had been nominated then all Mrs. Clinton’s faults could have been far better exploited to her detriment however, the loose cannon that is Trump simply cannot make that case in the end. He really is not a very bright bulb and his narcissism prevents him from staying on message. He has to turn this whole thing into a massive diatribe of how the media and everyone else with power is preventing HIM from achieving a stunning victory.

Of the 16 or so original persons vying for the nomination I cannot say which had the innate skills to effectively take on Hillary. They all were weak in their own way and Mrs. Clinton is very skilled with many years of experience at this game so to make any of her’s and her husband’s past questionable dealings stick would have been difficult at best, but if it was a closer match of campaign smarts we would have had a much more competitive race today with Hillary Clinton’s past a much stronger issue for her to counter and overcome. As it is, not only is the presidency going to go to Clinton but a big percentage of downballot races are now very competitive when they might not have been otherwise. If it ends up the election bloodbath many are now predicting, the Congress could well go to the Democrat’s. That is what should be keeping you up at night however I am enjoying this immensely. If Mrs. Clinton gets a Dem Congress, then she will be the one “unshackled” and the multitude of wrongs foisted on the Nation by Republicans over the past 30years might very well be made right. I can only hope.
