I just passed my 500 mate and have years on deck waiting for it in the mail. Can I get TOAR signed without AMS Before I get 500 in hand? thanks
Yes. If you are going to Mate T/V via Mate 500, you do not need Apprentice Mate. Just the TOAR and at least 30 days on a towing vessel under observation and training.
