Running a website can be a difficult task that requires hiring guys with advanced computer science degrees from big universities but gCaptain is different. To keep the information free and to give you the best user experience gCaptain is 100% built and run by mariners. Some mariners donate time (e.g. our logo was designed by a DPO working at Transocean) and others help out by spreading the word to their friends.

The good news is this message is not asking you to invest time or money. But we are asking for just 2 minutes of your time.

Please take a moment to add gCaptain to your email whitelist. This is important to make sure the emails sent by gCaptain - from other gCaptain members and administrators - reaches your inbox and is not accidentally labeled as spam.

I’ve mentioned gcaptain to a few mariners this week. There outta be an invite button for current members to invite their friends and acquaintances. Maybe, I just missed it.

gCaptain is without a doubt my favorite website. I’ve told all of my friends that work on the water about it. It is indispensable to the mariner today. Thanks for all the work you guys put into it.
