Shoreside transition?

I disagree; for profit schools do not have degrees that are accredited in any real fashion and do not offer credits that can be transferred anywhere. A degree in a certificate program is one thing if you actually learn something but way too many of those “degrees” are far more a joke than even the most useless liberal arts degree from a state school. Try to get into a masters program with a degree from slapdick career institute! A very small percentage of for profits are actually a good deal, the small number of them that actually focus on hands on trade education with internships and work programs.

A local community college associates degree (nonprofit) is untold times more practical than one from the slapdick career institute. And usually a small fraction of the price.
