Hi everyone,
Does anyone here work at Seastreak or know someone that does? I saw they have an open listing for a deckhand position that keeps getting re-posted online, I sent in a resume but didn’t get a response. I work as a captain for one of the harbor’s excursion companies but I’d like to mix it up and try working on ferries for awhile. I’ve always been interested in large, fast-ferry work and I’d really like to work as a deckhand there.

Get on the phone Monday morning and call the office and see what happens. Don’t waste effort on online applications. Don’t work there, but usually that’s the consensus. Burn the phone lines up and if that doesn’t work go in person if you really want the job.

Roger, thanks! I’ll get on the phone on Monday. I’m also interested in decking on the SI ferry, but I’m just as stumped about how to apply for a position there when the city doesn’t have an open CS exam out.
