no surprises here…Uncle Ted Stevens set the standard that the Alaskan congressional delegation now rapaciously meets without hesitation. In no state of the union are the elected representatives more beholden to massive campaign finance contributions from energy and fisheries corporate interests. It is legalized bribery and those like Young and Murkowski as masters at the craft of taking money for legislative favors.

It’s not just the Alaska Congressional delegation that is lining their pockets with oil industry cash, its the state Legislators too. The oil industry just bought a few Legislators to give the industry a big tax credit subsidy.
