In my case at least I am not insulting simply stating facts. Having been born in the southern USA, and having lived my formative years there gives me an insiders perspective. I still like that area of the USA actually but I recognize the culture for what it is and I understand how it got that way. Heck, that area of the USA was until relatively recently primarily agricultural.
How old are you sir and what was the time span of your formative years? Things have become quite cosmopolitan in recent history. Just last year a large building was erected to play moving pictures in my town. This caused quite a scandal with the local gentry as they assumed this was some sort of witchcraft or sorcery. Some thought it was an attempt at Yankee subterfuge to so they may come start unions in all of our businesses.

Moving pictures are the devils work and those that play in the movies are union organizers. Guy name of Ronald Reagan was a union president for 6 terms with those moving picture union people and stole from the job creators in the movie bidness. He made them start paying residuals to actors every time a rerun came on they were in. The Socialist Reagun even supported that commie in Poland and that union Solidarity. Movies are where those unions get started, run 'em out. Anything ya’ll need to know Faux news will tell you.
Fox News, MSNBC, CNN they all have some sort of agenda just like the unions do in fleecing Mariners. Union or non union my boats will still be working. If mariners wish to organize we have to agree to a contract and if no agreement then what? Do they walk? I will increase my day rates a little and people will gladly come back to work with no more of this union nonsense. I may even attract some union Mariners looking to cash in on my charity and good will.
