Question

I’m currently weighing two offers from offshore companies in Louisiana. Crosby tugs has offered me a position as well as International Offshore. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either and has any advice for a fellow mariner. By the way its a OS position.

At an OS position, if this is your first job at sea, just go with Crosby and rack up some seatime, and learn as much as you can. Don’t wait to long, or both offers may pass you by. Lots of men needing work these days.

Stay away from IOS. Take the spot with Crosby. Feel free to PM me and I’ll tell you about IOS.

Things are not looking good at IOS.

He’s right, jobs are getting more and more scarce and sea time is key. Good luck!
