Lately, I have been having problems viewing pictures in some of the posts.
I usually use Firefox for a Browser, so I thought I would try IE (Internet Explorer). Still not able to see the pictures.
The most recent thread that I could not view the pictures in was Overhauling.
I have not changed any settings on my computer for quite sometime so I do not think it is on my side, but you never know.
If anyone has any suggestions please bring them on.
I can’t see any of them in those threads either. At first I thought it was because of the paranoid firewall we have here at the office, but I can’t see them at home, either. Oh, and I use IE8 on both computers.
Same problem here on Firefox and IE on two separate computers running two different operating systems.
Well, at least I know that I am not alone and that it’s not my computer. Hopefully someone will come up with a solution.
Happens to me using the app all the time. Can’t see the pics come back and read the thread later on that day the pics appear.
I can see the pictures when I use the Android app om my Galaxy III.

I can see photos on my phone as well, but not as much on my computer. Some show up, some don’t. Just another gCaptain mystery like the server being too busy…
I can’t post pics using the app. No matter how small I make them. I can see them but I can’t post any until I get home.

I have never been able to post a photo from any platform - period.
Has anyone given a solutin on this? Maybe I missed it in another post. Searching turned up nothing for me. Can’t see on home computer (Firefox), Droid phone (Samsung 3) even through the gCaptain app. I can see some photos, such as c.captain thread about his boat. Did find a Flickr account of Johns with some pics through google. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gcaptain/sets/

Same here, no matter what it is impossible to post a picture and only about half the photos posted by others even show up. This applies to Firefox and Explorer. I have absolutely no problem posting or viewing photos on other sites.
I have figured out that some of the time I cannot view photos because of the constrictions on my vessels Internet. However, it still happens sometimes even when at home.
I’ve been dealing with the same problems and noticed the difference between being Logged-In or Not. If I right-click a pix to “open in new tab” it makes me log-in to view the pix, then I can see it. If I’m already logged-in and open a thread, none of the pix will load. I usually just log-out, reopen the thread, and start over again. Pain in the ass, but it works.
