Notice that the nice passport photos you wasted $18.00 on (unless you made them at home) in your credential application were not even used, they place your TWIC photo in the credential. The USCG should not require the passport photos any longer.
I’m sure Mr. Cavo will correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe that the Coast Guard does require them anymore.
Photos are no longer required.

Definitely not. I provided photos which were much better than the TWIC one, and they still just used the TWIC photo.
Has any body else felt that the over all construction of the credential left something to be desired? I left mine sitting out on the counter over night and in the morning the cover was curled up like an old leaf.

I know what you mean. I compared mine to my passport and it seems flimsy and cheap in contrast. Doesn’t seem very seaworthy to me.
The lowest bidder made them I’ll bet, you get what ya pay for…
