Passive DP days in New Offshore Sceme - how many?

Hello everyone,

I’m now runnig the Phase B of new Offshore Sceme and after reading of the Log Book instructions I still have some doubts regarding the Passive DP days.

The New Scheme says:

“A maximum of 25% DP sea time days can be passive time (maximum of 30 DP sea time days only to be done in Phase B), with 75% of the total DP sea time claimed being done in active mode.“

Does it mean that I can log 15 passive days (25% of Phase B 60 days) and in this case I can log 45 active and 15 passive which will be enough to close out the Phase B and attend DP Simulator?

OR

It is possible to log 30 passive days (25% of all 120 days) and 30 active + 30 passive will be counted for Phase B closing?

It’s 30 passive days on the 120. I did 22.5 Passive days on the 90 back in 2011 but the last 2 guys I signed off did 30 on the 120. Keep in mind that after you take the simulator course the last 30 days must be active.
