Apparently, they were making an honest push with pledge cards out but the company tried to pull a fast one. But I can’t blame the company for trying to cut costs and get the best deal for them.
MMP & MEBA deck officers are thinking the same thing. Personally, there’s no reason I would take a pay cut to go work on a tanker. More stress, cancer and significantly less pay when I compare my wages to OSG wages.
