Offshore wind news

It is happening everywhere:

Ørsted may have to pull out of the US but it is still busy in the rest of the world:

The installation of wind turbines for the Mingyang Qingzhou Sihai Offshore Wind Farm Project Phase I, constructed by Longyuan Zhonghua (a branch of ZPMC), has been successfully completed, marking a key milestone for the integration project combining offshore wind power + marine ranch + seawater hydrogen production.
The project site covers an area of approximately 73.69 square kilometers, with a total installed capacity of 500 MW. Longyuan Zhonghua was responsible for the installation of 25 sets of 11MW wind turbine foundations and units. The project would adopt the world’s first combined jacket and netting integration technology, along with the construction of a wind-to-hydrogen project, creating an integrated project combining offshore wind power + marine ranch + seawater hydrogen production. Once it’s completed, the project can generate about 1.83 billion kWh of clean energy annually, saving 570,000 tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.4 million tonnes per year.
