Offshore Oil Industry Has Died, What're You Doing Now?
And you know it’s not hard to crew boat a 170+ ft long vessel in 8 ft seas roughly 50 ft away from a platform while “1” deckhand offloads and loads 550 gal tote tanks as well as 100 barrel tanks @ 85% full of methanol. Yeah, their ain’t shit to that… It’s just peaches and cream with DP…
Not sure what context this is meant in, but I can tell you some personal stories of live boating before dp. Being able to make barges dance still tops it.
Sir you normally have some insightful things to add to the discussions, but you really stepped on your dick going off on a tirade like you did.
The point is, don’t generalize. There are good boatman and shitty boatman in every genre of this industry. That goes for you too chief cajaya.
