Does anyone know the average annual income of an AB or mate on one of the new york city self propelled sewage barges. Ive heard they make great money and work somewhat normal work schedules.
You've heard wrong about the money. The schedule is nice tho. And the sewage tankers are DEP not DOT.. DOT is the staten island ferry. AB $58k Mate $63k
And remember you’ll have Fed, NYS, ANDDDDD NYC income tax. NYC pension though so I guess there’s that.
There changing the tiers for the pension. Makes it less desirable.
