I know you can only have one application in at a time with the NMC but not sure if a medical certificate renewal counts, while submitting an endorsement raise of grade also. Anyone attempt this before?
I could have sworn I have had two applications in at the same time, but that was 10+ years ago.
You can ask for a split issuance on your application, for instance I put in for a raise of grade and a renewal (in case i wasn’t able to pass the required exams for the upgrade) at the same time, you’ll have to pay the additional fee. medical is completely separate.

Back to work. But web site might not be the highest priority after the extended involuntary hiatus. Also, notice for furloughed USCG staff to report back went out after midnight, so many are taking leave and will return Friday.

I know somebody who got their med cert during the shutdown…I guess the companies had a different phone number to call to get stuff done for them.
