Hey, fellow mariners, I’m a 3 a/e with unlimited ratings in gas, motor, and steam. I’ve look on this site but most of the meba ?s are outdated by 2 yrs. Does the MEBA hall in Tampa have alot of business for engineers?
Go to the Tampa hall and talk to Greg the rep there. There is not much going on in Tampa as far as jobs being called in that port. You really need to get up to NY if you are serious about getting work.
NY or even Jacksonville has some jobs once in awhile. Not much in Tampa.
