Ive just got my thirds license with unlimited hp and tonnage. Went to seattle to sign up with Meba and hopefully land a job, but its pretty dead here.
Anyone know the best place for new thirds to score a job through meba? Would like some input before i travel again.

I would pick a port that is cheap in accommodations and has a good amount of night work.
Thinking LA or Houston. That should help keep you afloat and gain some experience while you wait. Theres a good chance you’ll be taking an open board anyway.
LA is not looking good for group III right now. But you never know.
