Major fire on board Edison Chouest

Here’s what sources are telling us: http://gcaptain.com/edison-chouest-anchor-handler-towed-across-caribbean-catching-fire/

Anyone have further details?

Arrived Wednesday and is leaving Fourchon now.

I saw it getting pulled out towards Belle Pass this afternoon also, it looked pretty charred up on the starboard side of the cabin. I hope all those guys were alright!

The article I read said a return fuel line was the culprit. Wonder what the whole story was. I’m sure glad nobody got hurt.

No more news or information available? Lots of questions. Return fuel line where, engine itself or common return, weld fail, how did it get out of hand and spread so quick, quick closing valves activated, etc., etc.?
There are lessons the community could benefit from if the information were available.
