Low Bandwidth - High Speed Version

The issue has been long standing on the forum… providing acess to people aboard ship with slow internet connections. While we have made some small tweeks including removing ads for members who are registered and signed in, a complete solution has eluded us.
Today I’d like to announce post specific RSS feeds. While they are ment for another purpose (see video explination below), RSS is optimized for slow connections, meaning you can use it to quickly view posts from the ship.
NOTES:
To view our RSS feed simply click on the big orange button in the sidebar:

To view the rss feed for individual posts click on the small orange button next to each post title:

The purpose behind RSS:
<embed height=“350” width=“425” src=“http://www.youtube.com/v/0klgLsSxGsU” wmode=“transparent” pluginspage=“http://macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” quality=“high” id=“VideoPlayback” type="application/x-shockwave-flash]</embed>

John, I haven’t been having the slow loading issues as some of the others but, the information in the video link is educational and the rss feeds for each post is yet another attractive feature for gCap. That is what is great at gCaptain, ask and you shall receive…nice job guys.

Anything for you Chief!
