I think you nailed it on the head. It’s simply a matter of enjoying what you do, at the end of the day.
Some guys sit on 2M their whole careers and it seems there is an unfair stigma attached to it by some folks (“guy never even sailed past 2M…”) which I was frowning upon above.
Yeah, but I’m betting you don’t want to move up to next level, working in the office anymore than I do.

Is that the next level? I posit that it is not. Though I agree with you. Nothing about sailing a desk interests me. All the same bullshit without the sunsets or time off.
