Knocking on Doors in Louisiana

I hope they replicate the tobacco use authentically

You can’t run a boat or drill a hole without skoal…

Dukes of Hazzard must be playing on the crew mess TV. Or NASCAR.

what about the country music version of MTV (old mtv, the music video version)???
What about a rewrite where captain Phillips saves everyone or c.captain as the know it all Petro engineer who runs around saying I told you so.
Richie Phillips is a widely known prick. At least he’s retired now and can longer single out young 3/Ms and constantly berate them.

As far as CC goes…

Cruel man, just plain cruel.

I hear there’s already a black market for genuine spit cups to be used in the movie. Very low key, but see the guy in the Fourchon Circle K shitters.

He pays extra for bottles without paper towels shoved inside.

PORT FOURCHON RELEASES MASTER GROWTH PLAN

More unlit dredge pipes to clog the works. It’s interesting seeing the place grow though. I can’t imagine what it was like before Fourchon.

They plan on doubling the width of the channel too? Where is it 27ft? Looking at my depth sounder, it seems that 22ft or so is the max depth. At some docks I can’t get along side at a 17ft draft! I didn’t see anything about a second entrance, guess that’s no longer an option. I think the service and repairing of rigs is a long shot, there’s no space to back them into a drydock

Thanks for the very good post, Ms. C. This subject is worth a thread of its own so we don’t hijack this one.

Thanks, water.
I have heard many mariners’ discussions regarding this very same topic.
That’s why I thought I would post this article.
I agree many will appreciate a thread of its own.
Good idea.

I wonder if its all inland or if there are any positions open for offshore tugs…?

This was posted in the lafourche daily comet newspaper, today. It does not mention anything, else.

AB would imply outside boats in my opinion. The ad I saw made it look that way.
