Didn’t mean to come off that way. I like seeing people advance and land dream jobs…it gives me a glimmer of hope 
Sad thing is there is some hesitation with unlimited guys and the HR guy is trying to determine if you want to be here or if you are going to get your certs and cut out. I highly recommend acting as if every job is your dream job. Just like capts don’t want a fresh deckhand who only talks about getting in the wheelhouse, the capt needs a deckhand first and foremost.
That being said, they hire unlimited guys all the time.
