Knocking on Doors in Louisiana
Well skycowboy who do you work for? Because I want to stay away from them they obviously hire lazy worthless hands and if the captains keep them on thats not saying much for them either. The meaning to my post was I have worked inland (Brownwater) and offshore(Bluewater) zip code reference was to companies that take care of the locals even when they are shit workers and couldn’t care less about the out of towners. now I’m guessing you understood all that even before I had to write it out for you and you were just bored and that was an attempt at sarcasm or your not as old and salty as you wish your were!
You don’t want to stay away from my company as it is one of the top two IMHO in the Gulf. The two mentioned deadbeats came from a well known Temp agency and never made the full contract. One because he said he couldn’t sail not having his own room. The other flaked out over girl trouble.

I don’t know the last time you worked in the Gulf but I run across very few locals in the workforce. What do you consider local, a 5 hour drive? Then yes there may be a lot of locals. But I don’t think you will find any companies coddling any workers. They can’t afford the insurance liability and the day rates are so high the caliber of people to pick from is much higher.

To set the record straight, I am older than I wish and as far as being salty, I have lived through a couple of near Pirating attempts thanks to the Coalition Task force, Sailed the Volga river from Moscow to St Petersburg , sailed around Cape Hope, been through both the Suez and Panama Canal numerous times and been to the Orchid Towers. So you be the judge. Just saying
