. I have 20 yrs. both Blue and Brown water experience mostly blue 17 yrs. I want to work for a company that actually evaluates their employees based on skill and work ethics and not by your zip code!
I’m not sure what zip code blue water is, but the first Blue water AB that I worked with told me he couldn’t stop painting just to throw off lines, That he couldn’t stop chipping and grinding every time groceries showed up. That what our boat needed was a sailing board.
The Blue water QMED I worked with got sea sick every time we left the dock and had to lay down in his bunk. But usually felt well enough to eat pizza and watch TV when his watch was over till all hours of the night,
Just Saying
Well skycowboy who do you work for? Because I want to stay away from them they obviously hire lazy worthless hands and if the captains keep them on thats not saying much for them either. The meaning to my post was I have worked inland (Brownwater) and offshore(Bluewater) zip code reference was to companies that take care of the locals even when they are shit workers and couldn’t care less about the out of towners. now I’m guessing you understood all that even before I had to write it out for you and you were just bored and that was an attempt at sarcasm or your not as old and salty as you wish your were!
