I have a 100ton GL/Inland, AB Unlimited and QMED FOW. I am considering taking RFPEW, RFPNW, BST and PSC in the next couple of weeks. Or just going down to LA and trying to get a job as I would need to borrow money to do the STCW classes.
Aside from medical and other variables, what are my chances of getting hired with the above and no STCW? I haven’t worked in the Gulf since the late '90’s though I have worked on the Lakes a few years since then, and a few commercial deliveries.
