Mariner checks in yesterday and gets hired as an AB Unlimited with a great company, this morning.
Interesting fact is that he was taking a class at MPT in Fort Lauderdale and someone suggested he contact me, stay at my B&B and he told him that I would help him along the way. This guy was from the Virgin islands, but he made it happen. He did have RFPNW so the company was impressed.
As always, I will be very happy to assist you throughout this process or just provide nice accommodations for your stay. I ask that you check in on a Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 and I will spend an hour or so with you going over all of the companies, contact personnel, planning routes each day, a few extra tips, and questions you may have about anything else.
Beginning Jan. 2020, I will still offer a discounted rate of $85/night (Sun. through Friday, $425) to mariners looking for work and/or taking classes in the area at Faulk Safety, now called Rely On Nutec in Houma, or the Marine Training Institute (DP Classes) in Gray, LA. .
