I received a “Job Task Analysis Survey” from NMC. It was specific to “Deck Officers/Limited and Restricted Trade”.
Lots of firefighting, man-overboard, and stability questions. Some of the first questions asked was what tonnage limitation I had (100/200/500/1600), what geographic restrictions were on my MMC, and had I recently sailed as Master or Mate on my MMC.
Then it seemed to narrow the questions down based on trade.
Took about 20 minutes.
