Does anybody have any advice on the best way to talk with the hiring manager or even get on over there?
My current company is stacking half our boats next month and I really wanna go work over there.
Any advice will help. I’m going by there next week when I get off.

I’ll tell you on Monday if we for sure get stacked, they said there’s a chance we have to go home for 2 months until our contracts pick back up. Its a smaller mom and pop company with mostly nice and new boats, that’s all I can say right now. They are a great place to work but I need stability right now just like the other 999,999 guys down here right now.
Talk to Karen Macera. I believe she does the hiring at Jackson. Used to be with GulfMark. Prolly just drop by the office. She’s pretty down to Earth.

Ya i don’t know if they are hiring. Friend of mine was called about a month ago for a mate position. Wasn’t sure how many they were looking for or if they wanted ABs or Eng. Good luck though.
