Considering the fact that our own government is working overtime to destroy what little is left of the US Merchant Marine and put who knows how many maritime workers on the street along with their families, and put countless shipyard suppliers and workers out of business, why is the strongest resentment and harshest attacks pointed at some fat moron whose success or failure will not impact your life or mine in the slightest manner?
Is everyone so fat and comfortable that they have the time and energy to waste worrying about a bunch of kids playing with boats in some far corner of the planet?
If those people expressed the level of hatred and violence that gets posted on this site there might be reason to mention them, otherwise it makes American mariners look raving whackjobs because they seem to waste more time trying to look mean and nasty to a bunch of kids playing around the icebergs than doing something that might help protect a critical American industry … like write a letter, a thousand letters to the parasites who walk the halls of Congress.
