How many oil patch mariners are sitting at home, waiting for a call?
I fail to see how any of this has anything to do with your attached photo. None of us including your old ass was alive then. You bring that up all the time and I fail to see the correlation. Are you you so desperate you have to use he civil war to bait people into an argument with you? The point the anchor boat master was making is we get it you didn’t have a good time at OC why do you keep shitting on all of us. If we are all so insignificant and not real Mariners why give us your regal attention? Why keep running it in the ground there is no new field left to plow? As I’ve said before it’s like you derive some sick pleasure from people losing their jobs. For Petes sake man give it a rest. You look like even more of an ass than you usually do.
C. Captain is a reminder of how we got where we are. He is grumpy and hopefully will get truly old but that doesn’t mean he is mature all the time. Those that came before the recent crop of mariners [recent crop is anyone less than 50 years of age] know full well why C.Captain loses patience. Could he use a little tact? Yep. Does he drive the anti-southern thing into the ground, yes. But he is a constant reminder that Joe Boss isn’t paying you what he does because you are special or he loves you. He is paying because of the battles fought before most of you were born and if we aren’t careful you’ll have to fight those battles again but C.Captain probably doesn’t currently see mariners with the guts to hang it all out there like those of the past did. Neither do I but I chill with a fishing rod, maybe C.Captain should start practicing yoga.
