Here comes Danny

Tropical Storm Danny has formed over the Atlantic about 445 miles east of Nassau and 775 miles SSE of Cape Hatteras. Danny is forecast to slowly strengthen and may reach hurricane intensity as it passes eastward of the North Carolina Outer Banks late Friday or early Saturday morning. Danny is expected to pass far enough east that there will only by a 30-40% risk of tropical storm force (Gale) winds on the outer Banks. A similar risk is forecast for the Cape Cod area later on Saturday.
