Can anyone tell me more about Compass Marine? Are they a good outfit to deal with? Is it worth my while to pursue them in this economy? 
You can always tell them no for a job. If they can get you job, then it is worth it. I guess it depends on how hungry you get.

I know the owner, very well. Not much to say other than it’s paying to get a job. Sometimes the company will pay the fee.
Im going to Sea School for my AB ticket in Dec…also for lifeboat training. Do you recommend that I apply now or later? Any advice you have is welcome. I truly want to do tug work. Inland or offshore, doesnt matter to me.
