That video doesn’t say anything about the engine shown. It looks like a proof of concept device to test the ceramic components of an entirely different engine design that shows up in the background on whiteboards. My comment was not skepticism about the Carnot cycle or ceramic engine components, both have been in development for decades, it was about the claim that the engine shown produced 50kW. Nowhere in any of marketing material does the startup company provide any information about the demonstrator engine shown. This reminds me of Guy Negre’s MDI air car project, more hot air than reality, more hype than data, more marketing than machinery. It also reminds me of another more amusing local attempt to finance a “revolutionary breakthrough” in energy production.
