Looking for firsthand information from guys working for Moran, preferably the NY fleet. I’ve been working out of NY on tugs as both Mate and Captain for the last 15 years and am considering making a move. I know what the pay is, what about the day to day operations? How’s the equipment (in real terms as compared to other outfits)? How do they promote with respect to seniority? What do you like/ dislike in general?
