who would want to be on a ship with hundreds…
Problem is now you arrive at the scene of a car accident and nobody moving but a fire in one car and its a EV, you really cant go near it as risk your life, maybe from upwind?

Would not stop any fragmentation, nor shield from the intense heat.
sure but the risk is to just walk up to an EV with accident damage…
As it is in an accident with leaking gasoline tank.
I would risk fuel leak, just be aware as it wont explode nor will the fumes from the fire kill you

Make sure you know where the mechanical door release is, in case the button doesn’t work. Where would you sit as a future passenger on a car ferry?
